Monash Art, Design and Architecture is a local expert partner for the Global Buildings Performance Network (GBPN), hosting GBPN’s Asia Pacific office and implementing research projects across the region. The Monash and GBPN partnership aims to increase the ambition, adoption and effective implementation of building energy codes and complementary policies in high mitigation potential markets in India and Southeast Asia. Monash Indonesia is Monash University’s postgraduate campus in Indonesia located in Tangerang, Banten. GBPN and Monash Indonesia have established a framework to collaborate on key projects in the region.  See more

Institute for Essential Services Reform (IESR) is a think-tank in the fields of energy and environment. IESR encourages transformation into a low carbon energy system by advocating a public policy that rests on data-driven and scientific studies, conducting capacity development assistance, and establishing strategic partnerships with non-governmental actors. Center of Excellence Community Based Renewable Energy (CORE) – Udayana University
In Collaboration with CORE Udayana University, GBPN is supporting the Bali provincial government in developing the Bali Clean Energy implementation guideline piloting in Denpasar City and Gianyar Regency. See more

Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy
Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE) is a leading not-for-profit organisation in India that works on creating awareness about energy efficiency (EE) as a resource. GBPN has partnered with AEEE to  support sustainable building policy development, adoption and implementation in India, with an emphasis on supporting local and state government entities. See more 

Environmental Design Solutions (EDS)

Environmental Design Solutions (EDS) is a sustainability advisory firm focusing on the built environment. Working towards making a difference, GBPN has partnered with EDS to support the adoption of the Energy Conservation Building Code for Affordable Housing in Gujarat and Maharashtra state. See more 

Mysuru Community Biosphere

Mysuru Community Biosphere is a building and infrastructure developer in India, and since January 2022, GBPN and MCB have been collaborating on sharing building knowledge, potential projects, and technical drawings. See more 

Climate Centre for Cities (C-Cube), National Institute of Urban Affairs
In early 2022, GBPN and C-Cube formed an alliance to support mainstreaming of climate actions in Indian cities. Launched in June 2021, the Climate Centre for Cities (C-Cube) focuses on strengthening the capacities of cities to understand, implement and monitor actions needed for addressing climate change impacts. Since February 2022, GBPN and Aryanparv Realty, a Limited Liability Partnership firm based in India, have been collaborating on sharing building knowledge, upcoming or potential projects, technical drawings, and collaborating with the local DISCOM and PV EPC agencies for the power supply. See more

The Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction (GlobalABC) works towards a zero-emission, efficient, and resilient buildings and construction sector through raising ambitions to meet the Paris climate goals and mobilising all actors along the value chain. See more

Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN)
CTCN promotes the accelerated transfer of environmentally sound technologies for low carbon and climate-resilient development at the request of developing countries. GBPN is CTCN’s network member and provides it with capacity building, knowledge management, and policy and planning services. See more

Global Alliance for Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience in the Education Sector (GADRRRES)
GBPN is a member of the Global Alliance for Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience in the Education Sector (GADRRRES) and an active participant in working group 1 (Safe Learning Facilities Working Group). See more

UN Environment Program (UNEP) – Sustainable Buildings and Climate Initiative (SBCI)
Since January 2013, GBPN has become a member of the UNEP – Sustainable Buildings and Climate Initiative (SBCI). This is a partnership that brings together the main public and private actors in the building and construction sectors (companies, local and national governments, non-governmental organisations, research centres, international institutions, etc.).
