INDONESIA
LOW CARBON RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS REGULATORY REFORM
PROJECT OVERVIEW
GBPN launched their joint collaboration with the Samarinda City Government and the University of 17 Augustus 1945 Samarinda (UNTAG) for policy development in low carbon residential buildings.
- We are actively developing local coalitions to establish expertise on policy planning and policy implementation
- Training and education programs have been developed and implemented to improve capacity building with the Samarinda Government
The Mayor of Samarinda (at the time) referred to GBPN’s commitment to policy development as a way to help the city “become a green residential champion in Indonesia and make it a more liveable city for all residents.”
GBPN will oversee the development of the Policy Roadmap for Samarinda City together with UNTAG’s Head of Architecture, Mr. Prasetyo. Samarinda is an iconic city that will serve as an example for other regions in Indonesia to follow.
