Monash and GBPN are delighted to welcome you to the Exhibition of child- and youth-led actions for sustainable cities

Transforming the built environment offers one of the greatest levers to address the climate and biodiversity crises while ensuring dignified living conditions for all. Despite huge potential, a tiny €45 million/year is invested in climate philanthropy in the sector – this is only a mere 2% of climate philanthropic funding.

This networking breakfast is an invitation for existing and potential philanthropists and implementing organisations in the buildings sector space to connect and learn how to support a movement for more and better aligned philanthropic funding for the built environment.

Location : Monash Pavilion Blue Zone, Thematic Arena 1 TA1-100

Urban 95
If you could experience the city from 95cm – the height of a healthy 3 year old, what would you change?
This is the core question Urban95 seeks to answer on behalf of the babies, toddlers and caregivers who rarely have a voice in city policy, planning or design.
We do this by helping city planners, urban designers, and other urbanists understand how their work can influence child development. Our goal is to encourage cities to create spaces where children can grow, learn, create, imagine and play across all neighbourhoods, reaching as many families as possible.
