Ashu Gupta is the Managing Partner of Design2Occupancy Services LLP, a leading consulting organization providing a wide range of services in green building certification facilitation, energy and daylight simulation, CFD analysis, energy, water and fire audits, MEP design services and related domains. The organisation has delivered roughly 300 certified green buildings.

As an avid instructor, Ashu has trained above 7000 architects, engineers, consultants and government officials on Energy Conservation Building Code. He has been the chair or member of several chapters and committees, including Assistant Regional Vice Chair – Young in ASHRAE (YEA) at ASHRAE RAL, YEA Chair at India Chapter, ISHRAE’s National Steering Committee – ACREX, Committee Member- India Chapter IBPSA-USA, Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA)’s Founding Member – India Chapter, Fire and Security Association of India (FSAI)’s President – Rajasthan Chapter, and ASHRAE’s Conference and Exposition Committee Member.

Ashu’s expertise has been celebrated by several awards, including the ASHRAE Young Face of Engineering in the Winter Conference (2013), Rajasthan Energy Conservation Award, for contribution to State Energy conservation efforts in individual category (2014), Uttar Pradesh Energy Conservation Award, for contribution to State Energy conservation efforts in individual category (2018), and Developing Leader Award by ASHRAE HQ (2019).

Ashu holds a bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rajasthan (2008) and an M.Tech in Sustainable Design from Vivekananda Global University (2020). He is based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
