Jane Henley
Chief Navigator of Growthlines Ltd.
At the forefront of the International Green Building movement for more than 13 years, Jane led the World Green Building Council from 2010-2015. She has advised governments on Green Building policies, participated in a number of UNFCCC COPs, as well as advised on the UN 10YFP program development. She was a director of the United Nations Sustainable Building Climate Initiative (UNEP-SBCI) and acted as Chairperson of the popular Business Case for Green Building (2013). Currently, she is leading Growthlines Ltd, focusing on scaling the use of Off-Site Manufacturing in New Zealand.
Jane’s career has been built around developing strategies and leading change in a range of complex organizations and industries. She is comfortable working in public, private and not-for-profit sectors, whether it is at the front line or with executive, board or political decision-makers. Jane recently managed a multicultural team across eight countries, with a 21M portfolio supporting over 1Billion in Investments.
Jane holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Otago (1992) and a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from MIT Sloan School of Management (2016). She joined GBPN as a Board Member in 2019 and was appointed as Chair, Treasurer and President of the Board of the Global Buildings Performance Network (GBPN) in June 2020. She is based in New Zealand.
