Shravani Tummalapalli

Project Associate at the Climate Centre for Cities, NIUA

Shravani Tummalapalli is a Project Associate and Researcher at the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA). Shravani is also a Core Working Group member of GBPN’s JINDA-Gujarat Core Working Group, where she brings rich experience in green development, climate change, smart cities, and adoption and implementation of the Green anthem at the local level.

At C-Cube, Shravani’s work primarily focuses on supporting the implementation of the ClimateSmart Cities Assessment Framework (CSCAF), supporting cities in Capacity Building of Energy and Green Building Thematic area, Communications and Data Management, and Visualisations.

Prior to joining NIUA, she worked with PwC as an Analyst under the TASC (Technical Assistance for Smart Cities) team, at the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs for carrying out the assessment of Ease of Living and Municipal Performance Indices. She has over two years of experience in Architectural practice and was interned at APCRDA (Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority). Her key professional interests are Research and development, Data analytics, Capacity building, Urban planning, City resilience, Transport planning and Urban design.

Shravani holds a B.Arch in Architecture from Sri Venkateswara College of Architecture (2016) and a Master in Urban and Regional Planning from CEPT University (2019). She is currently based in New Delhi.
