Kate has ten years of experience in international development and education focused on research and knowledge management, program management and technical advisory roles covering policy development and implementation, climate change adaptation, urban environments and school safety.
Kate has previously worked with Save the Children where she co-led their urban technical working group. In addition, Kate’s previous experience includes the United Nations Development Programme, World Vision, Live and Learn Environmental Education and the Australian Government. Kate holds a Masters of International and Community Development, and Bachelors in Law and Legal Practice, and International Studies (International Relations).
As GBPN’s Head of Networks and Engagement, Kate oversees complex research activities and is focussed on strengthening the scale and impact GBPN’s network of experts.
A strong network is a key way to amplify policy advocacy.
