Mysuru Community Biosphere is a building and infrastructure developer in India that leads the industry toward eco-friendly, sustainable homes. MCBʼs mission is to deliver 1000 houses at the most reasonable price in the next 5 years.

Avani, MCB’s first project, targets an Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) Gold rating. The Avani campus employs several sustainability strategies, including precast construction, careful water management, solar power generation, Bio-Sewage Treatment Plant, piped gas for cooking and water heaters, LED lighting, low-flow sanitary fixtures, electric car charging points, effective waste management, reuse of all treated water for on-site purposes, and organising buildings around courtyards to help induce airflow, provide shade and create spaces for the community. MCB designs every element of houses intelligently and sustainably, and it aims at building future-fit homes with precast concrete that require minimum maintenance and have reasonable prices.

Since January 2022, GBPN and MCB have been collaborating on sharing building knowledge, potential projects, and technical drawings. They also collaborate with the local DISCOM and PV EPC agencies for power supply.
