Monash University, Australia
Monash Art, Design and Architecture is a local expert partner for the Global Buildings Performance Network (GBPN), hosting GBPN’s Asia Pacific office and implementing research projects across the region. The Monash and GBPN partnership aims to increase the ambition, adoption and effective implementation of building energy codes and complementary policies in high mitigation potential markets in India and Southeast Asia. Monash Indonesia is Monash University’s postgraduate campus in Indonesia located in Tangerang, Banten. GBPN and Monash Indonesia have established a framework to collaborate on key projects in the region. See more
Center of Excellence Community Based Renewable Energy (CORE) – Udayana University
In Collaboration with CORE Udayana University, GBPN is supporting the Bali provincial government in developing the Bali Clean Energy implementation guideline piloting in Denpasar City and Gianyar Regency. See more
Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy
Alliance for an Energy Efficient Economy (AEEE) is a leading not-for-profit organisation in India that works on creating awareness about energy efficiency (EE) as a resource. GBPN has partnered with AEEE to support sustainable building policy development, adoption and implementation in India, with an emphasis on supporting local and state government entities. See more
Ashok B Lall Architects
Ashok B Lall Architects is a design and architecture studio that was established in New Delhi in 1981 and ever since, has designed multiple projects across India, including the Indian Institute of Health Management Research in Jaipur, Sehgal Foundation in Gurgaon, and the Development Alternatives World Headquarters in New Delhi. The studio has also won several awards in architectural competitions. See more
Implementation Partners
Implementation partners, at local or national level, bring knowledge and understanding of the buildings sector and policy landscape as they play out in their own community and country context.

Advocacy Allies
Advocacy allies allow us to give more prominent to the issues and a voice to those affected by climate change and poor quality buildings. CTCN promotes the accelerated transfer of environmentally sound technologies for low carbon and climate-resilient development at the request of developing countries. UN Environment Program (UNEP) – Sustainable Buildings and Climate Initiative (SBCI)
Since January 2013, GBPN has become a member of the UNEP – Sustainable Buildings and Climate Initiative (SBCI). This is a partnership that brings together the main public and private actors in the building and construction sectors (companies, local and national governments, non-governmental organisations, research centres, international institutions, etc.). GBPN is a member of the The One Planet network. One Planet is a global community of practitioners, policymakers and experts, including governments, businesses, civil society, academia and international organisations, that implements the 10-Year Framework of Programmes on Sustainable Consumption and Production and works towards achieving SDG 12: ensuring sustainable patterns of consumption and production. Climate Centre for Cities (C-Cube), National Institute of Urban Affairs
In early 2022, GBPN and C-Cube formed an alliance to support mainstreaming of climate actions in Indian cities. Launched in June 2021, the Climate Centre for Cities (C-Cube) focuses on strengthening the capacities of cities to understand, implement and monitor actions needed for addressing climate change impacts.
